He Megan, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I had run through the article in January and missed a few. Salon du Livre and Salon Au Vintage moved (one to Apr one to Feb) and the Color Run date isn’t announced yet. I hope you have a fabulous trip in March – Macaron Day – yes! Tons of fun if you can handle the lines!

The mention of the ponies in the Jardin du Luxembourg brought back memories of the last time we were in Paris and our 3yo rode a pony there. We could hardly pry her off (meanwhile our son was miserable). She became a competitive show jumper in her teens. She’s 22 now, so it’s been a while since we saw the place.

As great as your post was, nearly every festival you mentioned which I looked into doesn’t actually happen in March. I didn’t chase up details for all into all the events, but I hit a number of them. Obvi, it’s Paris, so it’s not like we’ll be searching desperately for things to do, though.

Plus, of course, being there for Macaron Day makes up for everything we won’t be there for,

By: Marlene https://misadventureswithandi.com/paris-in-march/#comment-543066 https://misadventureswithandi.com/?p=63744#comment-543066 We’re flying to Paris on March 18 for a week. We are celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary on March 22. Our son and his wife will also be with us. We have a German “son” who was an exchange student to the states and lived with us for a year in the 80s. He is now a diplomat to France from Germany, so we will be spending time with him too. He will be helping us with day trips, lodging etc. I’m thinking that, on our anniversary, a dinner cruise on the Seine or at the Eiffel Tower would be memorable. Do you have any recommendations, Andi? So excited about this trip. We’ve been to Paris before, but this trip is extra special!
